LINC2 is a high performance RF and microwave design and simulation program from ACS. In addition to schematic based circuit simulation, optimization and statistical yield analysis, LINC2 Pro includes many value-added features for automating design tasks, including circuit synthesis.
LINC2’s suite of design tools automatically provide for the exact synthesis of a wide variety of active and passive circuits. LINC2's comprehensive amplifier synthesis tool produces circuit schematics for single and multi-stage amplifiers, low noise amplifiers (LNA), balanced amplifiers and differential (push-pull) amplifiers. The LINC2 impedance matching tool provides lumped and distributed circuit topologies for both broadband and narrow band applications, including balanced and unbalanced configurations.
LINC2 directly interfaces to leading RF and microwave design suites, allowing it to be used stand-alone or by leveraging its capabilities with those of other major packages. LINC2 offers exact circuit synthesis, schematic capture, circuit simulation, circuit optimization and yield analysis in a single affordable design environment that is powerful, yet easy to use.
Included are many dozens of built-in circuit element models and a library of tens of thousands of device s-parameter files on disk for precision modeling of components. Transmission lines include ideal and physical (microstrip and stripline) lines with length and width descriptions suitable for making circuit board layouts.
